Carrie Schreiner finalises her GT programme for 2023

As previously announced, the 24-year-old Carrie Schreiner from Saarland will continue to drive in GT Sport besides the new F1 Academy. Now her programme for this year has been fixed.

With Land Motorsport, one of the best GT teams in Germany, she will compete in at least three races of the GTC Race Series. She is still very familiar with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 from the years 2018 to 2020. During that time, Carrie managed a sensational podium in the ADAC GT Masters and the overall victory in the GTC Race in the GT3 class. Teammate will be ex-DTM factory driver Peter Terting, who also has a lot of Audi experience.

"Since the F1 Academy has absolute priority for me this year, I unfortunately can't drive any complete GT series due to clashes of dates. That's why I probably won't be able to defend my GT60 powered by Pirelli title, but together with a top driver like Peter, we will at least be able to fight for podium positions in all the races. The family team around Christian and Wolfgang Land has won the ADAC GT Masters and the 24h Nürburgring several times, so we have the best conditions!", says the fast GT pilot.

Carrie will also be competing on her favourite track, the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, again. In the brand new BMW M4 GT4 of her regular team WS Racing, led by Thorsten Willems, she is expected to compete in five NLS races.

"The new BMW M4 GT4 is fantastic to drive and I am looking forward to driving it on the Nordschleife. Thanks to Thorsten Willems and the WS Racing Team for the very friendly cooperation over the years."

In the F1 Academy, the FIA's new women's racing series, the driver from the Saarland will be the first German pilot in the field and will start the fight for the championship for the French team ART Grand Prix.

"The F1 Academy is a unique opportunity for me and I will give everything for it. But I'm equally looking forward to GT racing in two great series with professional but very nice family teams!" says Carrie Schreiner full of anticipation for the new season.
